Formulas and ingredients
Solid, honest formulations at meaningful concentrations. The Hyaluronic Acid serum, the Niacinamide and the Oat Cleansing Balm are all genuinely good and cost less than a sandwich.
Where it sits behind The Ordinary: fewer exotic actives, less formulation ambition at the technical end, and some products are noticeably thin. The haircare extension is unremarkable.
Price and value
Among the best on this list. Nothing in the core range is expensive, and the guidance quality means you waste less money on products that were never right for you — which is the hidden cost of cheap skincare.
