About TrusteDiva
TrusteDiva is an independent beauty review site. We buy what we test, publish the scoring rubric, label every paid placement, and share the discount codes we find.
Why this site exists
Beauty is one of the hardest categories to shop honestly. The claims are unregulated, the ingredient lists are written in Latin, the "reviews" on most sites are affiliate copy, and the discounts are frequently theatre — a permanently inflated price with a permanently attached banner.
TrusteDiva exists to do the boring, expensive part: buy the products, use them for long enough to have an opinion worth publishing, read the labels against the claims, and write down what we found — including the parts a brand would rather we left out.
What we publish
- Brand reviews, each with a TrustScore out of 10 built from eight published axes.
- Product reviews, with full ingredient lists, honest cons, and what the thing actually costs per ml.
- Discount codes, tested before they go live and re-checked weekly. When one dies we mark it expired instead of leaving it up to collect clicks.
- Beauty School — guides written to answer a question rather than to sell you the answer.
How we pay for it
Affiliate commissions on some links, and clearly-labelled partner placements. Both are disclosed on our advertising disclosure page and marked on the pages themselves.
The important structural point: our commission is the same whether a brand scores 9.5 or 4.5. There is no financial reason for us to recommend the wrong product, and a very good reason not to.
What we will not do
- Sell a score, a rank, or a badge.
- Let a brand read a review before it is published.
- Publish a cruelty-free or vegan claim we cannot trace to a certifying body or an explicit brand statement.
- Invent a review count or a star rating to make a page look more authoritative than it is.
- Run a fake countdown timer.
Corrections
We get things wrong. When we do, we fix the page and say what changed. If you have found a factual error — a price, an ingredient, a policy, a code that no longer works — write to us and we will check it.
Who this is for
Mostly people researching a purchase on a phone, often with a budget, usually after being burned by something that did not work. If that is you, start with the brand rankings or, if you are building a routine from scratch, with how to build a skincare routine.
