Fragrance is the least transparent category in beauty. Notes are marketing copy, longevity claims are fiction, and the only way to judge is to smell it — which is impossible online.
Phlur's answer is to publish more and claim less: full note pyramids, honest four-to-six-hour longevity ranges rather than all-day promises, and a cheap discovery set so you can test before committing. That is a small thing that solves the actual problem with buying fragrance online.
The fragrances
Missing Person is the one that built the brand — a skin-scent musk that reads as clean laundry and warmth rather than as perfume. It is deliberately subtle, and the most common complaint is that it disappears, which is what a skin scent does.
Father Figure and Somebody Wood are more substantial and last longer.
Longevity, honestly
Four to six hours on most skin for the musks, six to eight for the woods. That is normal for eau de parfum at this concentration and this price. Anyone claiming twelve is either selling you something or has anosmia to their own fragrance.
Price and value
Mid-market: more than a body mist, well under niche perfumery. The discovery set is the right first purchase and makes the value case far stronger than a blind full-bottle buy.
Who it is for
Someone who wants a personal, close-wearing scent and wants to know what is in it. Not for anyone who wants a fragrance that announces itself across a room.
